ᐅ Driven well – which type of pump or similar equipment is recommended?

We have recently completed a driven well (8.00 m deep) and now we are wondering about the right pump to use!????

We would like to run 2-3 garden sprinklers with it. The well is located inside an infiltration shaft. Therefore, I would like to install the pump there as well. Supply lines and so on are already in place.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions, or what should we consider when buying a pump… what features or capabilities should it have?

I used a KSB MultiEco 35 for my approximate 8m (26 feet) deep driven well [could also be a 36, I would have to check the nameplate]. It has now been running for 7 years with extremely iron-rich water, but it works like clockwork.

Thanks for the tip. Funny enough, I had already looked into that one yesterday.

Doesn't that unit have too much power for the driven well?...not that it clogs up and runs dry!?

Power already has the unit; in the largest irrigation circuit, there are 4x Gardena T380 + 1x T200 connected. It should deliver about 3.5 square meters per hour at 3 bar (43.5 psi).
My well hasn’t clogged yet, but every 3-4 days I need to clean the pump pre-filter from sand.

All right, thanks very much. Have a great weekend ☀️
