Hey,
the standard shower fitting was installed for me. Unfortunately, from my point of view, it is positioned too close to the edge of the shower enclosure, and it only has a single showerhead that is also difficult to adjust in the holder. I would like to replace this with a rainfall shower. The wall has already been drilled, and I want to reuse the existing drill holes. I believe the current shower rail is mounted with one drill hole per bracket (2x). Is that normal?
Do you know of any rainfall showers that are also fixed with only one drill hole each, or are the holes usually spaced about 90cm (35 inches) apart? It would need to be flexible in height. It would also be great if the curved shower arm on top can swivel. Otherwise, the rail will have to be rotated slightly.
Thanks!

If I were to replace the showerhead, I would replace the single-lever mixer with a thermostatic mixer (like in the second photo). To me, that belongs in a high-end bathroom. Set the temperature once and you're done.
