ᐅ Which color should the exterior blinds be?

Our construction is progressing, and now we have to decide what color our external blinds should be.
My husband definitely wants white aluminum RAL 9006.
I am leaning towards gray aluminum RAL 9007 because, in my opinion, RAL 9006 is quite "glarey," and I also think it matches better with the anthracite windows RAL 7016 and the white exterior façade.
What do you think?
I would also be very grateful for pictures showing how you have solved this.

Thank you for the beautiful pictures

Tanja.bee..
I also like the contrast.
How often do the louvers need to be cleaned?

What RAL color are your louvers?

Well, we only moved in in August, the outside is still a construction site, and to be honest, I have cleaned the window frames and already cursed the anthracite a bit, but haven’t cleaned the roller shutters yet.

The reason for choosing the contrasting color was also that the lighter shade doesn’t heat up as much on the south side. This is especially important for the garage door, where it could potentially cause issues with opening. Visually, we also like the contrast.

I’ll take a photo tomorrow morning.

Hello,

it's RAL 9006 (white aluminum).

Regards,
I.
P.S.: If you fly about 160km (100 miles) north from Reutlingen, you’ll arrive here – in case you ever want to see it in person.

@Irgendwoabaier Are these standard venetian blinds or some special type? They have guide rails on the sides. How wind-resistant are they?

Standard at the bottom (with a regular venetian blind box and guide rails), at the top angled venetian blinds (also with a regular venetian blind box, but with cable guidance – guide rails are not possible here). Uniform standard slats. Wind sensors and central control are recommended (in my opinion, even necessary). Wind resistance is specified up to Beaufort scale 6 or 7 – usually sufficient for this area, but I would not recommend it for mountain peaks or the North Sea coast. Long-term experience is naturally not yet available.
