We have a double garage next to the house, and the large radiator in the garage is about 40 years old and is developing rust on the fins. Naturally, it still has old valves, which means the heating circuit must be drained to replace it.
We don’t park a car inside but store bicycles, a refrigerator, gardening tools, and clutter.
Is it advisable to keep the radiator for frost protection (or will nothing happen), or should we just have it disconnected?
I look forward to your opinions.
Best regards, Monika
