ᐅ Looking for a quiet dishwasher with a cutlery drawer compatible with Ikea Metod cabinets.

I have been researching for over two weeks now to find a dishwasher that fits my open kitchen (Metod). I have already seen the general discussion thread as well as the very long thread about dishwasher fronts. However, I am still a bit overwhelmed. My question is: Is there currently a quiet dishwasher available with a variable hinge and a cutlery drawer? My budget is a maximum of 550€ (about 590 USD). The most important thing is that the dishwasher is quiet since I have an open kitchen, and of course, that it cleans the dishes well 🙂

Hello,

BSH (Bosch, Siemens, etc.) offers appliances with a variable hinge and drawer starting at around €500 (there are quite useful search filters on their websites). For a cutlery drawer, I would personally only consider Miele. Their XXL versions fit as well, do not require hinges, but are more expensive (starting at around €750). I cannot comment on the noise level.

Thanks first of all for the responses. Would the SME46MX03E also fit? Although it has multiple hinges, according to the drawing no 80 cm (31.5 inches) front fits.

No, it doesn’t fit because it’s not a large-capacity model. I don’t understand why it’s called SuperSilence, since it still has 44 dB. The Neff is only 42 dB. My Bosch is also 42 dB, and I don’t want it to be any louder.

Alright, then it will probably be the Neff dishwasher. Thanks again. Now I just need the countertop. Are there any recommendations on where to find affordable countertops that also fit a Metod kitchen?
