When you sit there for a truly comfortable dinner (as is common in France) for two or three hours, every bone starts to ache and you hate it because you can only rest your feet in one position. So, over time, it becomes terribly uncomfortable. It might be fine for a quick meal in between, though.
We have a similar small table in our kitchen, but it is set lower than the countertop. It is partly screwed to the cabinet and the wall with brackets, and there is an adjustable leg at the front. Three people (or four in a pinch) can sit around it on regular chairs. We’ve already hosted some nice kitchen parties there, for example with tartes flambées that were gradually put into the oven and shared as they came out.
If you’re interested in something like this: we have a Bosch oven that goes up to 300 degrees Celsius (572 degrees Fahrenheit), which is great for pizza, tartes flambées, and similar dishes.
Best regards, Wolfgang

I agree about the table. Ideally, it should be possible to sit at it with regular chairs. Regarding the oven, I have a wood-fired pizza/tarte flambée oven. For the baking oven, I planned to use one from Neff. I simply find the slide and hide system brilliant.

Regards, SaschmaxOutside? I've thought about that too, but it would be used too infrequently here. Tarte flambée is more of a seasonal dish for us in autumn, and if I really want to bake pizza outdoors, the grill works quite well for that.
