Hello! I hope this is the right place; maybe some painters will take a look here! A textured plaster wall needs to be repainted, and there are some isolated mold spots in the corners. My question to the experts is: What is the process for this? Do the mold spots need to be treated first, and can they then simply be painted over with regular paint?

Why are they there? To keep them from coming back!

Then spray the corner with a solution of Danklorix and water at a 1 to 5 ratio. Wait until the mold disappears. Wash off, dry, and paint.

Thank you very much!!! I think they are there because I ventilated or heated incorrectly! Is the method you described the one that a professional painter would use?

Some people use alternatives to mold killer. But something is necessary. Purely organic solutions do not work.
