Hello,
I have a question about the mounting rail and would appreciate it if someone could help.
I need to know the hole diameter for the screws on the mounting rail. From what I understand, the hole diameter of the small plates ("tabs") is actually more important, since these seem tighter in pictures. These tabs still need to be able to move. Knowing the hole diameter would help me determine the necessary screws.
As mentioned, it would be very helpful if someone could provide these measurements. Otherwise, I would have to wait another two weeks until I can visit Ikea again. Then I would just buy a rail and measure it myself.
Thank you very much in advance and best regards!

I am uploading two more photos.
Does the small plate from Ikea still serve its purpose even though it is bent?
Does the rusty plate (not from Ikea) serve the same function?

All good, the washer serves the same purpose as the small plate, and the rail is hung the correct way.

Yes, I already suspected that the rail is luckily installed the correct way around.
You mentioned several times that you wouldn’t use countersunk screws. Is that for functional reasons, or is it just because they look unattractive?
Same question regarding the different lengths of the screws.
