I have a question about the assembly instructions for the Malm bed frame. I don’t understand what is meant by the two images at the top of page 12. It concerns these plastic plugs (102267). I am unclear about the meaning of the crossed-out image and the one that is not crossed out, and when these plugs should or should not be used.

The reason is that if you have a slatted frame without a fixed frame, you need to secure it so that it is tightly stretched. Otherwise, it can shift, and the frame may fall down and cause discomfort.
