Good day!
I have an LED ceiling light that provides very nice illumination, but unfortunately, it turned out to be too bright for the small room. The fixture can be controlled and dimmed via DALI. However, I have not planned any wiring for this. At the location where the light is to be installed, there is only a three-core supply cable including the protective earth, starting at the switch next to the door.
Is there any way to make the lamp dimmable? I do have the option to hide something above the (newly to be installed) drywall ceiling, but I wouldn’t be able to access it later.
Practically, the fixture has four terminals (excluding the protective earth): two for mains and two for DALI.
Thank you!
Matthias

I have thought about that as well. However, I don’t see any practical way to use it on the horizon. Even before turning it on for the first time, I already shortened the hanging cables to a minimum since the room isn’t very tall... I will probably continue to use the fixture and just say it serves as the ambient lighting.
