Hello everyone!
A fence is going to be installed.
So far, the double wire mesh fence is the favorite option.
I am therefore looking for a high-quality but still reasonably priced fence of this type.
My research so far has shown that fences differ in

• wire thickness
• spot welded / spot crimped connections
• whether and which method of hot-dip galvanizing is applied
• various coating options
• accessories

Are there any other differences?

Could someone please explain these points and clarify which method or aspect has which advantage or disadvantage?
In other words, what is really important and which points might be less significant?

As a layperson, I would say that spot welding is very important for durability.
Regarding wire thickness, I might even prefer thinner wires for aesthetic reasons.
I don’t find overall strength to be that important, since no children will be pulling on it anyway.

I would be very grateful for your opinions and experiences.

There is also the design of the posts and fastenings...

Additionally, there are vertical rod panels and horizontal U-profiles; this option usually provides the highest rigidity.

The 6/5/6 panels are already warped upon delivery... nonetheless, we chose them anyway since it wasn’t that important to us—they just ended up slightly bent.
