Hello everyone,
We are going to buy a prefabricated timber frame house, delivered with the technical finish. Q2-level jointing. Now there are still visible joints at the ceiling/wall drywall transitions everywhere. In my understanding, Q2 jointing should include filling such joints, or am I mistaken?
Thank you for your answers.

It was not included for us either. We had to do it ourselves.

Your contract likely includes a clause stating:
The sealing of connection and component joints (acrylic or similar) is the homeowner's responsibility.

No, generally not included.

In our case, the joints between the wall and ceiling remained untreated for 2 years because the building was still settling. I couldn’t resist addressing a few very exposed spots, though. The sealed areas without exception ended up cracking. If you can be patient, it’s best to give the house time. If not, I wouldn’t apply silicone or filler but rather use molding, for example plaster molding or polystyrene molding that looks like plaster, which I would only fix to the ceiling on one side.

Good luck
