Hello everyone,
We treated ourselves to a new kitchen, and I am currently assembling the wall cabinets. My wife didn’t want any door handles, and the IKEA kitchen consultant recommended a solution with the Ulustra push-open mechanisms.
During installation, I’m getting the feeling that this is a bit of a catch-22. The door dampers on the hinges don’t seem strong enough to close the push-open mechanisms. So either I am missing something, or the kitchen consultant gave us some incorrect or misleading advice.
Do you have any ideas or solutions for me?
Best regards
Franz

Hello IKEA expert,
wow .... I am impressed.
After trying three times to get help through IKEA’s service phone number, I was ready to lose it.
Thank goodness I found this forum. Do you actually work for IKEA as a task force member?
In any case, a BIG THANK YOU for your help.
Best regards
