I want to convert our house from cable to satellite TV and mount the dish on the exterior wall. The best way I see to route the four cables into the house might be to run them through one of the crawl space ventilation grilles. From there, I would lay the cables through the crawl space to the utility room. I plan to access the utility room by using the relatively thick telecommunications conduit, which I would need to cut open carefully with a sharp knife.

We live in a mid-terrace house built in 2001 by Viterra Baupartner.

What do you think? Is this all safe, and what else should I consider? Could you also advise if grounding is necessary for wall-mounted satellite dishes? I've come across conflicting information on this.

Thank you!
