After browsing this and other forums for several years and constantly searching for a solution to my problem, I have now developed a solution through my own effort.
The problem: We have two 30cm (12 inch) thick concrete columns at the entrance area (in front of the front door) that need to be lit all around.
Side note: Individual ground spotlights are not an option due to the steps immediately in front of the columns, and I simply do not like them. Unfortunately, I have not found any commercially available solution for my problem.
The solution: I designed a construction myself that can be used outdoors and visually looks exactly as I imagined.
So, if anyone has been looking for something similar, just let me know, and I can share more pictures and details.

I installed the whole setup with a height of 5cm (2 inches) to have some space for the wiring, but it would even be possible with less. In my opinion, at least 2.5-3cm (1-1.2 inches) of height are necessary. The entire construction is flush with the granite surface; we deliberately skipped baseboards on the columns.
It consists of two half-rings milled from POM. Inside is an LED strip, with a diffuser plate on top. The milled parts are 5cm (2 inches) wide and run around the columns.
Since we have a 3cm (1.2 inch) thick granite covering (plus 3cm (1.2 inch) of drainage concrete) on the stairs, the 5cm (2 inches) height worked perfectly and made wiring less fiddly.
The power supply is, of course, located outside the columns.
Because the columns have a special shimmer paint, the effect looks even better when standing right in front of them. The LEDs are quite bright at 12 watts/meter, which provides ample lighting for the entire entrance area.
