Hello, a quick question: Do I have to pay property tax only on the land price? We are buying the land from the city for 79,300 Euro and the tax rate is 433. That would be about 1,200 Euro per year. Or is the house included as well? Otherwise, the costs would be unbelievably high.

Amateurs, in our neighboring town Bergneustadt they wanted to increase it to about 1500%, but after several lawsuits it will probably settle at around 1200%.

How is the standard value actually calculated? So far, I've read a lot about tables and similar methods. Why has this never been made into an online calculator? After all, there are online tools for building insurance too...

After recently receiving the questionnaire, I tried to research the calculation method but completely failed. Perhaps this is because the reassessment only applies to new development areas and is only done once. In that case, the effort to create an online calculator is not worthwhile.

Well, effort? Strictly speaking, the assessment must also be initiated again in the case of a renovation or similar.

Basically, you should have the right to know on what basis these assessments are made—it can cost you a significant amount of money over a lifetime.
