Hello!
Can anyone help? I am installing two sliding doors with three tracks of 1.20 meters (4 feet) each. Unfortunately, it’s not working very well. It seems like there are two problems that I just can’t solve. On one hand, there is an issue at the transition between the tracks, specifically at the plastic connecting piece. Regardless of that, one door runs smoothly, but the other squeaks and rubs. I’ve been trying to figure it out for hours, but I’m stuck. Does anyone know this problem or have a solution? That would be great!
Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I have a similar problem:
Installed a 180cm (71 inch) long track with two sliding doors...
unfortunately, they don’t really slide smoothly,
more like... moving squeakily and scraping with gentle force and four hands...

Can anyone help or give us a tip?

Thanks

Hello,
try to approach this analytically. Where is it rubbing? At the top, bottom? Too much pressure or tension? Is it rubbing somewhere on the side?

Off the top of my head, these theoretical causes come to mind:
- Cabinet body not assembled correctly, top and/or bottom panels are not properly aligned with the sidewalls.
- Doors not installed properly, rollers are not running where they should.
- Gliders at the top not installed correctly.
- Tracks mounted incorrectly.

Suitable photos could help.

Check whether the surface of the roller is truly parallel to the door surface, or if you might have accidentally screwed in the roller's bolt at an angle.

Hello IKEA expert,

thank you for your good idea...

We took a closer look at the rollers again...
and realized that the screws couldn’t be the right ones...
the countersunk screws were too large and therefore couldn’t be screwed in far enough...

We went to IKEA and got new screws, and tried them out at home immediately.
And lo and behold... it runs almost perfectly...

Thank you.
