Hi everyone,

I’m starting a general discussion thread about Habeck’s photovoltaic Easter package. We are currently in the new construction phase and are considering waiting until all the details are clear. If it becomes interesting, do you have any information—or would you start right away? Without higher self-consumption, the topic of photovoltaics is becoming less and less attractive. I’ll quote an article on the subject:

“For private new builds, the coalition government aims to make the installation of photovoltaic systems standard. To this end, Habeck promised better funding rates and simplified use of photovoltaics.”

At first, I thought the Easter package mainly referred to commercial systems, but apparently, there is also support available for private homeowners.

In that case, the government might as well buy photovoltaic technology and send installers to citizens free of charge.

I support the proposal!
Why not, if the declared goal is to become more independent?

Sure, so in addition to employed solar technicians, heating engineers for the purpose of expanding oil and gas heating systems in the public sector?

Why employed? Each federal state sets a framework contract for this, including a coordination office... I assume there is some competition law involved (the state must not compete with private industry).

Yes, and training positions. We need more skilled tradespeople.

The positions are available. What is missing is fair compensation for "essential" professions...
Teachers, educators, nurses, photovoltaic system installers: double the salary and see what happens to the skilled labor shortage. ;-)

But then you’d also be the first to complain about the significant increase in health insurance contributions, since nurses are paid from those. Doubling teachers’ salaries would mean they’d earn around €11,000+ gross...
