Hello,
for our sampling appointment, we need to bring the kitchen plan.
So far, we only have our own kitchen design (but detailed, and we know exactly what should go where), quick question:
Do you have any software recommendations for creating a sketch with measurements?
It is specifically about the positioning of electrical outlets and water supply/drain lines.
Not about how the kitchen or cabinets look!
I use Sweet3D, the top view there is well dimensioned, but here I need a view of the kitchen front (to show the heights).
(or is such a view possible with Sweet3D as well?)
Thanks
Martin

We modeled our kitchen using the Ikea planner.
We sent the whole thing as a PDF to the electrical contractor and roughly discussed where/how many outlets should be placed—corners, refrigerator, lighting, etc.
They then marked the outlets appropriately and sent it back.
We added one or two more things—done.

I can create a plan with cabinets exactly as I want them, regardless of the grid, color, or height. Then I can simply add notes using a basic paint program, including descriptions, dimensions, and so on.
Example

From the wall on the left side of the plan:
65cm (26 inches) blind corner cabinet
60cm (24 inches) dishwasher
60cm (24 inches) base cabinet with sink
This means my plumbing connections need to be centered behind the sink base cabinet, roughly at 155cm (61 inches) from the left side of the plan. It doesn’t get any easier than that.
I can also create elevation views with this.

one square is 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) … more like 50 x 50 cm (20 x 20 inches) 😉
And just a few filler words

They were not visible on my phone.
