Hi,
I want to waterproof my balcony floor slab (wood). I am currently considering applying liquid waterproofing membrane across the entire surface. I have read up on it a bit, but I have never done it myself—though I feel confident enough to try. The area is roughly 25 square meters (270 square feet).
I plan to start by sealing the connections at the profiles and where the slab meets the house, then work on the large main surface afterwards. What I haven’t been able to find out anywhere is: Can you apply new liquid waterproofing on top of cured material (for example, if you didn’t finish on day 1) without any special preparation, or are there adhesion issues to consider?
And yes, before the comments start: a professional would probably be better suited. However, this is difficult due to availability and the high quoted price for the waterproofing...
Thanks for your feedback.

For more details, a processing technician from the manufacturer can explain best.
The inexpensive ones based on PU are not finished in one day anyway.
