Hey,
I’m wallpapering for the first time. I just moved out on my own and want to decorate the apartment to my taste. However, I’m already struggling with the wallpapering. The textured wallpaper I bought just won’t stick and keeps falling off! I’m completely frustrated and stressed out!
I appreciate any kind of help.
Best regards

Most of the time, it is caused by the wall being very dry or by wallpaper or wallpaper residues remaining underneath. Or you might be wallpapering directly onto the drywall panels. So, it’s best to lightly moisten the wall with adhesive beforehand instead of just applying anything on top of the wallpaper.

A good set of tools is always important.
At home improvement stores, you can usually rent professional wallpapering tools. To apply the optimal and even amount of paste to the wallpaper, these roller-type wallpapering tools, which professionals also use, are very helpful. It’s best to ask directly at the store, as I don’t know the exact name of the device either.
