Hello!

I need help with a kitchen assembly problem... I have Faktum corner base cabinets. They come with a door and a cover panel—no problem so far. In the middle, there is a metal support bar where, in theory, the hinges are supposed to be attached.

And here’s the core of the problem: that doesn’t work. The integral hinges have plastic dowels that don’t fit into the holes provided for the hinges in the metal support bar. Without the plastic dowels, the screws don’t hold.

So my question is: how do I attach the integral hinges to the metal support bar? I feel like I’m completely stuck...

Thanks a lot for your quick help…

Best regards,

Kiwi

The corner base cabinet comes with appropriate fine-thread screws that must be used instead of the screws provided with the hinges. The plastic wall plugs should be removed (see instructions on p. 34).

Hello!

Aaaaargh... Thanks... I keep saying, I had a complete mental block, and that the solution is actually really simple was pretty clear to me beforehand. (I usually have trouble with very simple Ikea instructions. The complicated ones I can build with my eyes closed...)

Many thanks!
