I’m having some issues with one of my patio doors. It started with the latch not working properly anymore—it was one of those plastic parts from Maco. I replaced it and adjusted the door following various videos and guides online. However, now the door closes fairly hard and clicks into place, but with even a slight breeze, it opens again right away. When the door is open, there is quite a bit of play at the hinge pivot. The closing and tilt functions work without any problems. Does anyone have an idea why the latch isn’t functioning as it should? The sealing pressure of the door is disengaged when just leaning on it, right? Is there any way to make the door press further toward the seal even when leaning against it?
