I am currently looking for a privacy screen for a kitchen window. There is no roller blind because there are wall cabinets mounted directly above it.
We are planning to install pleated blinds. Ideally, I would like ones without visible cords that run along the glass bead. However, I recently came across a cassette roller blind with electric operation, and the fabrics can also be chosen to let light through. I also considered a mirror film to provide privacy during the day without having to lower the blind or pleated blind. However, I’m not sure if the exterior facade would look strange with that.
What are your experiences with the different privacy screen options?
Good luck,

We have Ifasol pleated blinds made of aluminum, which are similar to Venetian blinds but with the advantages of pleated blinds. They are installed within the frame and can be adjusted from both the top and bottom, and the slats can also be tilted. Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact name, and the Ifasol website is currently being updated...
However, a quick search suggests that the "aluminum Venetian blind with side tensioning by Soluna" is the same product. The main advantage is that you can adjust the slats to let light in while preventing people from looking inside.
