We are currently planning our bungalow. For various reasons, I have decided not to include a mechanical ventilation system. Please don’t ask me why!
However, I would like to make provisions during construction so that if I want to install such a system later, it will be possible. Therefore, I am considering installing the necessary ductwork during the build so that only the equipment installation would remain. What do you think about this approach? Does anyone have an idea of the cost for a 140 m² (1,507 sq ft) bungalow?

Planning and commissioning must be carried out by a professional company or the manufacturer.
Laying pipes can hopefully already be done by the electrician. I know someone who has done this before but also has a lot of respect for it.

How does the warranty work for pipe network installation in electrical layers (EL)?
Won't the general contractor (HLB) refuse responsibility if there are issues with the system and say that it's your problem since you did the piping? Don’t you see that as a potential risk? I mean, once the pipes are installed in the ceiling, you can't access the sewer system anymore.

Well, you never get access to the pipes again, that’s true. But there’s plenty of room to make mistakes on the pipe beforehand. For example, there are push-fit connections between the pipe and wall or ceiling outlets. Still, I wouldn’t want to encourage anyone to do it themselves before I’ve tried it myself. Of course, if something goes wrong, you have only yourself to blame. At least you won’t have water leaks like with plumbing, and the house won’t catch fire like with electrical work.
