We are currently planning our bungalow. For various reasons, I have decided not to include a mechanical ventilation system. Please don’t ask me why!
However, I would like to make provisions during construction so that if I want to install such a system later, it will be possible. Therefore, I am considering installing the necessary ductwork during the build so that only the equipment installation would remain. What do you think about this approach? Does anyone have an idea of the cost for a 140 m² (1,507 sq ft) bungalow?
Regards

No idea if it’s allowed to mention names here, got a warning just yesterday for posting a link to a neutral site to avoid typing out info [emoji849]
We requested quotes including pipe network planning from Ze**der, Sys***Air, Mai*o, Plu**it, Ho*al, He**os, and Enerv**t. All offers were between 10,000 and 12,000 including equipment, of course – without installation.
However: basement, ground floor, upper floor – so for the original poster, the price could be significantly lower since there is no upper floor (and the basement is also not entirely clear).
As I said, these are all manufacturer prices; these items will be included in the tender documents... then we will see what discounts are passed on and what labor costs will be added. Until then, I’m calculating based on the manufacturers’ figures – worst case scenario, so to speak.

That gives me some confidence [emoji4]No, that wasn’t exactly what I meant. It only referred to the fact that the material ACTUALLY doesn’t cost that much with EL. Please stick to the worst-case assumption. The installer might not get such high discounts and in any case, he won’t pass them on.stefanc84 schrieb:
Sorry, I assumed the installation would be done by yourself. For a developer, the price is unfortunately normal; they all ask for at least 12.Is it possible to do this as a DIY task? You would have to be quite professional, right?
