Hello!
Can anyone recommend a quality, reasonably priced prefabricated house company?
I am currently interested in the company BMH (Bau mein Haus).
Has anyone had experience with this company and can possibly share price information?
Regards and thank you

The construction phase was somewhat shorter – neighbors started building a solid house on a concrete slab last March and just moved in right before Christmas. We started excavating our building pit at the end of March this year and are moving into our prefabricated house now in November. The advantage of solid construction is certainly that our neighbors were still able to lower the windowsill and the bottom edge of one window during the construction phase.
The biggest issue right now is getting appointments with the tradespeople. They are all extremely busy here. This problem is also reflected with the prefabricated house manufacturers – they are often very busy as well, so the factory pre-assembly becomes the bottleneck here...

however, production is not the issue for some prefab home manufacturers. They could easily switch to two or even three shifts without major problems.
For our provider, the bottleneck is currently the selection process. The staff required for this need to be knowledgeable across all options – practically from different types of basements, plaster, windows, doors, sanitary installations, tiles, electrical systems, heating, chimney flues, wallpapers, floor coverings (…etc.) up to the roof tiles.
Of course, this knowledge and experience cannot be acquired in a short time.
When we were at the selection consultation, a total of 14 (!!!) couples were guided through their selections simultaneously.
Best regards,
Dirk
