Hello, since I couldn’t find any information anywhere, I’m trying here with you.

My girlfriend and I are currently considering a house.
It is a prefabricated house built in 1993.

Basement: Solid construction

Rest of the house: Prefabricated construction
(Exterior walls: Timber panel walls, wall structure from inside to outside: fine plaster, Sto insulation, Fermacell, timber frame construction, thermal and acoustic insulation made of mineral wool, vapor barrier, natural gypsum.

Interior walls: Timber composite construction as large wall elements.
Wall structure from room to room: Natural gypsum, timber frame construction, thermal and acoustic insulation made of mineral wool, natural gypsum)

What is your opinion about these walls (keyword: insulation)?

Prefab manufacturer: Sauerland Fertighaus Ringler GmbH
--> Can anyone say something about them???
I have never heard of this company before...

What is the condition of prefab houses from this year of construction? Regarding lifespan, building quality, etc...
So far, we have only gathered information about new builds, from Weberhaus.
I don’t know what the state of technology was back then...

I would be very grateful for your answers.

Best regards

I have an appraisal of the market value of the property.
From that, I posted the excerpt about the walls.

(Exterior walls: Timber panel walls, wall structure from inside to outside: decorative plaster, Sto insulation, Fermacell boards, timber frame construction, thermal and sound insulation made of stone wool, vapor barrier, natural gypsum.

Interior walls: Timber composite construction as large wall elements.
Wall structure room by room: Natural gypsum, timber frame construction, thermal and sound insulation made of stone wool, natural gypsum)

I thought this could provide some information about the quality.
As well as the construction year and how advanced houses were back then...
