maybe someone has already faced the same question. What is the best way to bring the power cable into the house for the cistern pump?
Originally, the cistern was planned opposite the "normal" house entry point (south-east corner). The 10-meter (33 feet) cable of the cistern pump with the main power cable would go in, done.
Now, due to space reasons, the cistern will likely be installed on the other side (south-west corner). Currently, I am considering the following: burying the cable outside (with an extension, since it’s a bit more than 10 meters) and connecting it as planned with the power cable inside, or installing a conduit at the south-west corner for a short way into the house, cutting off the pump’s plug, and connecting the cable to a suitable (light) switch installed there.
Or are there other suggestions?

I’m not sure if I fully understood your question. However, I would always recommend a separate empty conduit with a diameter of 100mm (4 inches) for the cistern:
A Schuko plug can fit through it.
You can install a waterproof cable extension box there if the original cable is too short.
In case of pump failure, you can always access it and remain flexible.
Additionally, you have spare capacity if you want to retrofit a water level sensor or other equipment later.

The conduit would be there, either at both corners of the house or only at the one where everything goes in anyway. So the pump cable would normally be underground and end in the waterproof cable extension box, which is also buried and continues to the building entry point into the utility room? Correct?
Then my line of thought would still apply, if I think about it carefully. The switch on the inside with the cable running outside through a conduit to a waterproof box with a socket inlet, into which the pump cable would be connected. This way, you wouldn’t have to dig the entire distance to the utility room, and flexibility would still be maintained?
