Hello,
I have a detached house built in 1956. The basement walls are cast, but made with lean concrete, and there is no horizontal waterproofing at the bottom. It only exists at the ground floor level. The basement walls are damp, and the humidity levels range between 80 - 100%. I plan to excavate from the outside and pour about 12 cm (5 inches) of waterproof concrete. What should I consider?
This base will later serve as the foundation for a ventilated facade.
Thanks in advance.
