Hello,
we are currently considering whether it would make more sense to move our front door from the street-facing side to the gable end of the house due to the terrain layout. My thought is that this would reduce the amount of earthwork needed to create an entrance. There is already a path along the gable end that leads behind the house. What are your thoughts on this, or how would you best approach it?
Looking forward to your suggestions.

I think installing the front door "in the direction of the slope" is nonsense.

You have a patio door that is installed below the street level, meaning below the backflow level. Is that really practical?
