Hello everyone,

I am not completely satisfied with the entrance area in our floor plan yet.
I am considering removing the window in the cloakroom and instead adding a door with a side panel of about 50cm (20 inches).
Would the side panel be better positioned on the left or right side of the front door?
And would you change the direction in which the door opens?

Best regards

According to the drawing, there is none on the ground floor.

Cool, so the indicated light wells must be just for fun then? And how do you know that none are present according to the drawing?

You are right, I only paid attention to the stairs. Sorry, my mistake...

Are you sure this is a good design for a ground floor?
The toilet is a complete waste of living space, while the kitchen is very small: you end up working with your back to the guest.

The connections are in the basement... I know that a bathroom is considered a waste of living space, but I like large bathrooms. I deliberately designed the kitchen this way because I am a fan of kitchen islands; however, there will also be a work island measuring 1.80 meters by 1.00 meter (6 feet by 3 feet 3 inches), which is not shown on the plan.
