ᐅ Poor floor plan design with a T-shaped layout? A large shower would be preferable.

Hello, take a look at the layout of our family bathroom.
We are 5 people: 2 adults and 3 children.
We do not prioritize a large bathroom, but rather a bigger shower with a seating bench and, if possible, a bathtub that is not completely freestanding.
The bathroom is planned in the dormer and has a standard ceiling height.
How would you arrange the bathroom?
Any solutions?

And of course, you can submit the floor plan as is for the building permit / planning permission, but it won't do you any good because changes inside can affect the exterior dimensions, facade, windows, etc., and then you have to start all over again.
What the architect really means to say – and I see this architect drama unfolding – is that his design is "approvable," in other words: he has done his job and doesn’t want to do much more for his payment.

I really don’t understand anymore what’s right or wrong... where could the door possibly go? Try mentally walking through the planned house. Open doors, walk around corners, imagine the furniture in place and visualize the passage widths and so on. Major mistakes should then become obvious in your mind’s eye.

Just saw the post now.
You wrote enough in the main thread. The OP created a new thread for each room (kitchen, bathroom).
