Does anyone have experience or can even recommend a Polish company? The reputation for price and quality is reportedly very good, at least from what I’ve heard. Since we are already investing a lot of money into the house, at least the exterior works should be somewhat more affordable (yes, Poland has also become more expensive – but still much cheaper than Germany, as far as I know). Thanks to the building plot near Dresden, it’s not too far either.
Here’s what needs to be done:
~30m² (about 320 ft²) terrace (including approx. 3.5 x 4.5m (11.5 x 15 ft) roofed area)
~50m² (about 540 ft²) wooden carport (approx. 9 x 5.5m (30 x 18 ft), just under the threshold for building permit / planning permission)
~75m² (about 810 ft²) driveway/path paved
~40–100m (130–330 ft) fence with garden gate (1.6–1.8m (5.2–6 ft) chain link fence is sufficient)
Does anyone here have relevant experience? Even if it doesn’t fit exactly, feel free to share your projects and prices with your neighbors here so I can get a sense of the costs. Many thanks!
If it gets too expensive, part of the work could of course be done as DIY. But even then, the price for materials “over there” should be much lower, right?

I watched how and where they build, and I’m completely convinced.

Fence double-wire mesh 45 m (150 feet), anthracite, 1.26 m (4 feet 2 inches) high.
With gate 1.00 m (3 feet 3 inches), and cantilever sliding gate 3.50 m (11 feet 6 inches) with motorized drive and photoelectric sensor,
intercom system and mailbox for 4,700 euros.
My offer in Germany for a gate and cantilever sliding gate 4.00 m (13 feet 1 inch) with motorized drive and photoelectric sensor (without mailbox and intercom, and 45 m (150 feet) double-wire mesh fence) was just under 6,000 euros... I would also like to get the contact...
Similar for the garage door... an offer in Germany for a sectional garage door 2.75 m x 2.15 m (9 feet x 7 feet 1 inch) with motorized drive and 2 remote controls (including installation) was 2,700 euros... the Polish company installed the same for me now for 1,500 euros. They were very friendly and spoke German well... and unlike many German tradespeople, they were able to handle minor problems (during installation) themselves...

We want to partly panel our carport ourselves, so it becomes a kind of budget garage, and have two sectional doors installed at the front facing the street. Could you share the contact details of this company or mention them here?

Thanks for the prices! And are these Polish companies? No, that was the groundworker who also installed the utility connections for our house.
The fence is a 50m (165 feet) double wire mesh fence; the material was cheaper than at Bauhaus, but the installation was a somewhat overpriced fixed price. (Material 1000, installation 1000)
However, we only have a fence, no gate or door... the development plan prohibits any enclosure on the street side...

Benutzer1911 Aug 2017 13:02@winnetou78 and @Egon12, could you please send me the contact details for the fence construction? That would be great, as my cheapest quote for 45m (50 yards) of fence installation and removal of the old fence is 3500. I think there’s still room to negotiate.
Thanks!
Thanks!
