Does anyone have experience or can even recommend a Polish company? The reputation for price and quality is reportedly very good, at least from what I’ve heard. Since we are already investing a lot of money into the house, at least the exterior works should be somewhat more affordable (yes, Poland has also become more expensive – but still much cheaper than Germany, as far as I know). Thanks to the building plot near Dresden, it’s not too far either.
Here’s what needs to be done:
~30m² (about 320 ft²) terrace (including approx. 3.5 x 4.5m (11.5 x 15 ft) roofed area)
~50m² (about 540 ft²) wooden carport (approx. 9 x 5.5m (30 x 18 ft), just under the threshold for building permit / planning permission)
~75m² (about 810 ft²) driveway/path paved
~40–100m (130–330 ft) fence with garden gate (1.6–1.8m (5.2–6 ft) chain link fence is sufficient)
Does anyone here have relevant experience? Even if it doesn’t fit exactly, feel free to share your projects and prices with your neighbors here so I can get a sense of the costs. Many thanks!
If it gets too expensive, part of the work could of course be done as DIY. But even then, the price for materials “over there” should be much lower, right?

To the people in northern Germany, especially Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. I’m not so sure that Polish companies are really worth it considering our wages. This is what was done here: terrain was shaped using a mini excavator, ring drainage installed, backfilled. 100 sqm (1,076 sq ft) of paving Diephaus style at 20 per sqm (2 per sq ft). Paths paved, paving stones 11 per sqm (1 per sq ft), platforms built at front and back doors. Front embankment reinforced with granite boulders, rear area with concrete plant pots, 1.90 m (6 ft 3 in) each. Driveway prepared, dirt strips around the house all covered with granite rubble.
Planting, lawn, garden shed constructed (Biohort Europa), stairway installed from guest parking to the house, hedge planted. Flower beds covered with bark mulch. All this including taxes came to 19,000. Could a Polish company do it cheaper? Be careful: just because it says PL doesn’t mean it is cheaper.

Hi,
I also had the fence and paving work done by a Polish colleague. I am satisfied. What I am still looking for now is a colleague for carport and/or garage. I would appreciate contact details. Hello, could you please provide me with the contact details of the paver?
