Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum, and we are planning to buy/build a house. We are currently looking for offers and, at the same time, searching for a plot of land.

We have now found a plot for which we already have an offer. In the offer, there is a note: “A sewage lifting station is required.”

I have already found some information about sewage lifting stations themselves. My question is, what kind of system should we consider here (prices range from four to five figures)? Also, what maintenance costs should I expect, and how often does it need servicing?

I would appreciate it if someone with experience in this area could share their insights. Maybe this is even a reason to reconsider this plot...?

Many thanks and best regards

Hello,

I also live on a slope and have installed an Aqualift Mono.
It can be equipped with a second pump, but we haven’t needed it for the washing machine, kitchen, guest toilet, and sink in the utility room for the past 5 years.
As far as I know, it should be serviced once a year, costing around 200€ (about $215).
The control unit failed once but was taken over by the boiler. Otherwise, the system runs very reliably.
