nasentier11 Oct 2022 20:32Hello everyone,
After much consideration, we have found a suitable location for the outdoor unit of our heat pump. However, the platform would then be right next to the slope by our basement window.
The construction manager said that if we don’t extend the foundation down to the basement floor, he cannot guarantee that it won’t tip over. He recommends mounting the unit on the wall instead.
We would prefer to have it on a platform.
The structural contractor and the landscaper say that using a L-shaped concrete block is not a problem at all.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Best regards, nasentier
