Since I need to retain the ground towards the neighbor in the garden (about 50 cm (20 inches)), I came across plastic L-shaped retaining blocks while searching for suitable ones. Although these are more expensive than the concrete version, they are significantly lighter at around 30 kg (about 66 lbs) for a height of 55 cm (22 inches), which makes handling easier in terms of weight.
My question is: does anyone have experience with these “blocks”? Are they easy to work with, or is there no substitute for concrete L-blocks?
Greetings from the Swabian region!
