Help!
I hope you can give me some advice.
We carefully renovated the ceilings and walls of our old building. That means we removed damaged areas of the old plaster, repaired them with Rotband, then applied Ardex 828 and sanded it down. We repeated these last two steps several times until the surface was completely smooth. In some rooms, new drywall ceilings were installed. Where there were only small imperfections, we just smoothed them with Ardex.
After filling, everything was primed with a deep primer and left to dry.
When painting, the gypsum stuck to the roller.
In other rooms, we first applied crack primer and then paint. After two days, small cracks appeared extensively, and in some areas, the paint peeled off in pieces about the size of a 5-cent coin. This happened mainly in the corners but also on the flat surface.
What could be causing this? The walls were fully filled and primed. Also, everything was allowed to dry thoroughly for a long time.
Do you have any tips?
By the way, the materials were bought from a specialist paint retailer at a high cost.
