Good day!
I am currently experimenting with various floor plans and am using Affinity Designer for this. Of course, I have to do everything manually. Now I wonder: is there any software for Mac that can handle some of the work for me—for example, where you can define the floor structure as a standard setting and seamlessly switch from a 2D to a 3D view, from which you can then generate a section at the desired location that can be further refined? I am not a draftsman, so it shouldn’t be too complex.
I designed my first house over 25 years ago using a budget program called "Micrografx Designer" on a 486 PC...
Thanks in advance, Matthias!

At first glance, you're looking for something like ArchiCAD, Allplan, or Revit, but none of these offer a free and quick solution.
I can't think of anything else that would meet your requirements.
In theory, any AutoCAD clone could work, but I'm not familiar with those, sorry.
