Hi,

as our house is almost finished, we are now looking for software that allows us to plan features such as splash guards, terraces, gardens, and parking areas.

Best regards and thanks

Do young people today no longer have a set square, or has their spatial awareness deteriorated?

I take an aerial photo of my plot, sketch in where things should go, and stick pictures from the building materials supplier’s brochure next to it for the paver.

This is not high tech at all.

Why stick to old-fashioned ways when you can adopt modern methods easily and step by step?

On Gardena’s website, there is an online garden planner that might be useful for you.

Because the paver might still do the work by hand and not with a laptop?

CNC-controlled compactors and lawn edging stones that come directly from a 3D printer in their planned position do not exist yet. In this respect, planning by hand drawing may be old-fashioned, but it is still the current standard practice. Maybe after the next CeBIT or Systems trade show it won’t be anymore, but (to the best of my humble knowledge) for now it is.

Well, 11ant, you’re quite out of touch. These are the moments when people tell you that you’re getting old because you don’t want to admit it yourself.
