Hello, we are planning to build a semi-detached house, KfW 55 standard, with a Tecalor air-to-air heat pump and are wondering if having individual air conditioning units in rooms affects the KfW 55 subsidy? In our current home, we have a ground-source heat pump including cooling integrated into the underfloor heating circuit, which provides limited cooling over a period of 2-3 weeks. When a heatwave lasts longer, the heat still enters the house.

Do you recommend using the cooling function in the underfloor heating system along with separate air conditioning units, and how is the exhaust air typically removed in such cases? Looking forward to your interesting input. Best regards, Stefan

Really an air-to-air heat pump and not an air-to-water heat pump?
If effective and efficient cooling is desired, you should install an air conditioning system.
