Hello everyone,

I’m new here and looking for help with planning and carrying out an accessible renovation of a former bakery into a residential loft.
I would appreciate tips and guidance on how to start the initial steps.
So far, I have used software to visualize my ideas, and I hope this gives you a rough impression.

Detailed floor plan of a house with living room, kitchen, dining area, bedroom, and bathroom

Modern, open living room with work area, fireplace, sofa group, and large screen.

Open living and dining area with long wooden table, black chairs, and lounge.

Open interior with bathroom area: window view, wall-mounted TV, shower, potted plant.

I think it would also make sense to share pictures of the current condition, which I will provide later. Currently, the floors and walls are tiled, as is typical in a bakery. Below the rooms, there is a basement with large spaces where, for example, flour silos used to be stored. One challenge is that the windows, for some reason, are positioned higher than usual. Since I use a wheelchair, I cannot look outside through any of the windows. I hope to receive a grant from Bayern Labo for this.

What is the best way to proceed?
Should I consult an energy advisor?

I realize that I’m missing a lot of information, which I would be happy to provide as needed. I hope you can support me a bit and help me turn my planned loft into reality.

Best regards,
Maiky

You are in the wrong subforum.
This is the right place:
https://www.hausbau-forum.de/forums/planung-grundriss-Grundstück.237/
Please fill out the pinned questionnaire and upload the existing layout as it currently is. Please clearly indicate what is existing and what will be newly built. Please explain the accessibility requirements, including why and how many people are affected.
Otherwise, constructive feedback and evaluation are not possible.
At the moment, your plan is unclear: the bathroom is larger than a studio apartment, while the kitchen is as small as one for a holiday home.
