Hello everyone and all experienced members,
we are planning our kitchen. We have a floor plan where one wall is angled due to the shape of the plot. We don’t mind that. However, we want to place the kitchen exactly on that wall. Could this cause any problems?
The plan is for a kitchen layout with cabinets reaching partway to the ceiling, partially wall-mounted cupboards, and a countertop with a sink.

(We will extend the wall up to the window to avoid space being too tight there.)
Thanks, regards Marc

You just have to factor in that drawers, doors, and flaps need their swing, folding, or extension space... see the "pink" drawer.

It also depends on how the rest of the room is arranged.
One option would be to extend the wall on the left up to the window and position the run at a right angle to the window wall. Of course, you can’t really decide that for sure with such a small section shown 😉

That’s no problem at all. The countertop will be adjusted accordingly and will run diagonally into the corners. This will create small (triangular) gaps – on the left side of the plan, they cannot be used; on the right side of the plan, a DIY enthusiast could still use the space as a small emergency cabinet or cover it with a panel.
You need to be careful with the cabinets on the left side of the plan: drawers would not open if the base cabinet is placed too close to the window side because they would hit the frame.
Edit: @kbt09 has illustrated this clearly.
