Hello everyone,
I am currently planning to place my KALLAX shelving unit on supports to make better use of the floor space and possibly create a kind of floating effect. My specific question is: What types of supports or wall mounts do you use to install a KALLAX so that it stands securely but with as little visual weight from floor feet as possible?
I am interested in both materials and fastening methods, especially how you assess potential loads and any tips you have for proper sizing.
Thanks in advance for your practical advice and experiences!

When screwing the supports, mark the drill holes carefully; having a second person hold them makes things much easier.Very good tip! I also recommend checking the installation multiple times with a spirit level, especially for larger shelves, to avoid any tilt later on.
Glad to hear everything is going well!
