alfra50Hello,
I am new to this forum and not an electrician.
For this frost protection pipe, I want to be able to clearly see, even from a distance, whether it is being heated.
The problem is that the heater is always supplied with power, but is turned on and off by a thermostat switch at about 3°C (37°F) and 15°C (59°F) respectively. I do not want to open this thermostat switch, primarily for safety reasons.
Of course, I could use a cheap energy meter to see if power is being consumed, but that would be an extra step and effort for me. Maybe someone knows how I could add an indicator light to show the operating status?
Thank you in advance and best regards
