Hello everyone,

Since I have no prior experience, I would like to get some general information.
Our new building will be heated using an air-to-water heat pump.
What would generally and overall be the advantages, potential savings, and costs of installing a photovoltaic system on the roof? Is it worthwhile or not?

I would assume that the method remains the same. The EU is generally critical of subsidies in this regard.

So far, I understood that the height of the ballast (EVG) is determined by reaching the cover. If the cover breaks, does that mean a new one is needed or a new method? Or is that not correct at all?

That is basically correct, but I assume that a similar type of calculation will be used. In my opinion, there will not be unlimited support.

Unfortunately, ours can only go on the roof in one, more likely two months.
I hope the time until then will still be sufficient.

Mine will fortunately be connected to the grid on Monday. Although the registration was already done in May.

Huh? That interests me now. Especially since I consider your statement knowledgeable.
Until now, I assumed registration only happens at commissioning. I once read something about a “light bulb test.”
Does that mean you received the electronic ballast starting in May?
