Hello everyone,

I was just at the construction site, and tomorrow the work area will be backfilled.

The insulation looks to me like it might be poorly done in two places, but I’m not an expert. What do the professionals think?

I should have held a meter stick next to it, but unfortunately, I didn’t have one with me.

What exactly do you see as botched there? Or is the insulation pulling away?

In the first picture, I find the foam application quite thick.

In the second picture, there is a cavity directly above the ground at the edge.

That’s what you’d call complaining at a high level. Don’t get me wrong.

It’s fine as it is. If needed, just add a bit more foam and you’ll be fine even if you experience some stomach discomfort. Based on the pictures, you’re miles away from any poor workmanship.

I’m very happy to hear that, thank you! The 4 guys are really quick as well.

I think if you read through this for too long, you might start to feel paranoid as a layperson.

From my perspective, the work is perfectly fine. We have seen completely different “scenes” here in the construction area. 😉 Good luck with the next steps!
