Hello
Is a building permit / planning permission required to install a pellet heating system?
Our neighbor would like us to provide a consent statement.
I am wondering what this means for us?
Thank you for your answers

We also did not need a building permit / planning permission for our wood heating system. We applied for a subsidy and had to complete a questionnaire as part of the process, but nothing more.

You should go directly to the local building authority to apply for the subsidy. The land register must be presented, and certain conditions must be met.

- At least 75% of the building’s heating energy demand must be covered by the wood heating system.
- The maximum capacity of the system must not exceed 70 kilowatts.
- Eligible projects include new constructions, renovations, and heating system replacements.
- Firewood boilers, wood chip boilers, and pellet boilers are eligible for funding.

Thank you for your information. They also want to install a wood heating system for us. It is clear that we do not need a building permit / planning permission. However, we will apply for funding support, and this application must be submitted.
