sline.quattro10 Aug 2018 18:54Hello,
I would like to install permeable paving for the terrace and driveway, and regular paving for the garage.
Epoxy resin or tiles are not an option.
In the garage, the car will be washed and the wheels changed, so the surface needs to withstand stress from a car jack.
Do you have any experience?
Which manufacturers do you recommend? It should also be visually suitable.
I found "Kann", VIOS for the garage, and VIOSaqua for the driveway.

fach1werk11 Aug 2018 07:44We found that almost all paving available from specialty suppliers was permeable. It is sufficient if there are small lips on the edges. We did not have to specially order non-permeable paving, as it is no longer required. We needed it because there is a water protection zone here. Additionally, the type of jointing material played an important role in determining whether the same paving is considered permeable or fairly tight. Properly watertight paving is difficult to achieve with dry installation.
For a garage and a profession that involves extensive maintenance of your own fleet, I would reconsider using "tight" paving in the garage, as well as the installation of an oil separator. In our old house – where we had a pit installed in the garage – someone did come to inspect once.
Best regards,
Gabriele
